The show, which starts November 27 and runs through January 3, 2021, includes more than 1,100 set pieces and 16 scenes located throughout the 65-acre property. Indeed, so dazzling is Magic Christmas in Lights that USA Today ranked it in its list of the Top 10 Public Light Displays in the country in 2014. It was also named a Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Festival and Event winner for December 2019.

The English Renaissance-style Bellingrath mansion will be dressed for the holidays as well with poinsettias, twinkling lights, Christmas trees, and magnificent arrangements of seasonal greenery.

Guests can buy hot chocolate and snacks on Live Oak Plaza and shop for Christmas presents in the estate’s well-stocked gift shop. And the on-site Magnolia Cafe will be serving dinner, with a different entree and sides offered daily, from 4 to 8 p.m. Beer and wine will be available for purchase nightly in the cafe. A kid-friendly meal will also be served each evening.

Admission prices for Magic Christmas in Lights range from $8 for children aged 5 to 12 (gardens tour only) to $25 for adults (gardens and home tour). There is no admission charge for children aged 4 and under. Tickets can be purchased ahead on the Bellingrath Gardens and Home website. They will also be available at the gardens’ entrance building.
