It’s almost time again to “Uncork Some Fun in the Sun” at the Sandestin Wine Festival, which celebrates its 34th anniversary in 2021. Named the “Best Annual Event” by Destin magazine, the popular festival offers wine lovers the opportunity to sample more than 500 wines from around the world. Guests also have opportunities to interact with top winemakers, learn what foods and wines go best together, and buy favorite wines at discounted prices.

This year’s main events – the Grand Wine Tastings – are scheduled for Friday night, April 16, from 5 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, April 17, from 1 to 4 p.m., at The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Appellations from all the major wine-producing countries will be represented, with a wide range of varieties, styles, and prices. Offered along with the wines are bite-size appetizers prepared by some of the area’s best chefs. Plus, each ticket holder will receive a Riedel wine glass etched to commemorate this year’s event.
