The Big Easy Comes to Destin Via Parti Gras
You don’t have to wait till next year to enjoy a little Mardi Gras madness. Not when Pardi Gras, a big New Orleans-style celebration, kicks off every Tuesday night at Destin’s HarborWalk Village. Billing itself as the spot “where Bourbon Street meets the beach,” HarborWalk puts on its party face and lets the good times roll on “Fat Tuesday” all summer long.
A free event open to the public, Pardi Gras features parades through the village, followed by brass-band entertainment on HarborWalk’s main stage. Starting time for the festivities is 7 p.m., with the parade getting under way about 7:45. There will be plenty of floats, beads, food, and fun for all!
