Lionfish & Libations: HarborWalk Village Brings Another First to Destin
If you’re a fan of fish, beer and fun, along a beautiful coastal backdrop, you’ll love being a part of Destin’s first annual Lionfish & Libations Festival.
This one-of-a-kind new festival for 2022 takes place Saturday May 14th from 12:00 – 4:00 at Destin’s HarborWalk Village, situated outside Emerald Grande Resort, right in the heart of The World’s Luckiest Fishing Village. This brand new event will offer attendees the opportunity to sample an array of uniquely prepared fresh Lionfish from several area vendors, while enjoying a number of popular libations, ranging from craft beers, locally sourced brews and seltzers to coastal-themed drinks — while taking in the sights and sounds of local live music, arts and crafts vendors, interesting Lionfish demonstrations, and culminating with the Lionfish Tournament Weigh-Ins.
Some of the top-notch brews provided in this tasting experience include: Destin Brewery’s Nattie Light, Fat Tire, New Belgium Voodoo Ranger, Pacifico, Oyster City, Destin Brewery, Timbercreek, Aquas Frescas, True North Energy, Surge, Vizzy, Terrapin, and even the popular female favorite, White Claw.
While you’re taking in the brews and views, be sure to bask in the sound of Willy D & Amber as they rock the HarborWalk stage with the sound and energy of one of Northwest Florida’s best vocal and guitar duos, entertaining you with an array of rock classics and hits from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, to the biggest chartbusters of the last two decades. Trust me, you’ll want to sing along!
