HarborWalk Village Hosts Big Cinco de Mayo Bash
The fun starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, when Pepito’s Crab Island Cantina kicks off a daylong Cinco de Mayo celebration. The restaurant, at Destin’s HarborWalk Village, is headquarters for the event, which features live Latin music, contests, food, dancing, and more.
Guests can vie for goodies at three piñata breakings — scheduled for 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30 – taking time out to walk over to the HarborWalk Village stage for the Macho Nacho Eating Contest at 6 p.m.
Guests will also enjoy cheering on the Roller Dirby Girls during the first HarborWalk Village “Running of the Bulls” from the HarborWalk Village stage to Crab Island Cantina.
Capping off the evening is a live concert at the cantina by Sal Salaz Caribbean Project from 7 — 10 p.m.
