Sandestin Sends Troops a Labor Day Salute
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort salutes the U.S. armed forces this Labor Day weekend, offering both active and retired military personnel a special rate and complimentary greens fees with its “Picture Perfect Labor Day Getaway.” 
This discount package, good from August 31 through September 3, includes one night’s free lodging with the purchase of two nights, admission to the annual Baytowne Art Walk, and play at Raven Golf Club, Baytowne Golf Club, or The Links for a $20 cart fee.
“Members of the military are very important to us at Sandestin,” said Rick Hileman, PGA Director of Golf Operations at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. “With several military bases in our own backyard and surrounding cities, we wanted to show our appreciation and give thanks for all that our military personnel do each and every day.”
As another tribute to our armed forces, Sandestin is asking golfers to add an extra dollar to their greens fees on Labor Day weekend to benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation, a nonprofit organization that offers postsecondary educational scholarships to children and spouses of men and women killed or disabled while serving in the U.S. military.
