Seabreeze Jazz Festival: Sea Breezes and Smooth Jazz in PCB

The white sands and emerald waters of  Panama City Beach are the backdrop for the 22nd annual Seabreeze Jazz Festival. The five-day festival, scheduled for April 22-26, 2020, at Aaron Bessant Park Amphitheater, has been named one of the Top 10 Jazz Festivals in the United States by JazzIZ Magazine and one of the Top 100 Events in North America by the North American Tour Bus Association. Billed as the “ultimate weekend of smooth jazz,” the festival regularly features the country’s top jazz artists.

Heading this year’s lineup are jazz and rhythm-and-blues musician Brian Culbertson, rich-voiced ballad singer Jeffrey Osborne, popular saxophonist and composer Boney James, and iconic Cincinnati rhythm-and-blues musicians the Isley Brothers. Also appearing are Average White Band, Peter White, Euge Groove, Marcus Miller, Nick Colionne, Maysa, the Rippingtons featuring Russ Freeman, Najee, Damien Escobar, Gerald Albright, Jeff Lorber, Everette Harp, Paul Jackson Jr., Mindi Abair, Eric Darius, Chris Standring, Cindy Bradley, Tim Bowman, Nils, Steve Oliver, Michael J. Thomas, Roman Street, and Marqueal Jordan (the Seabreeze Rising Star).

The festival kicks off on Wednesday night, April 22, with a dinner cruise of St. Andrews Bay aboard the SunQuest Solaris yacht (cruise is already sold out). The concerts start on Thursday, April 23, with gates of the main stage at Aaron Bessant Park Amphitheater opening at 2 p.m. Time for the first performance of the day is 3 p.m. Gates for the main stage open again at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 24, with the first performance of the day starting at 3 p.m. Main-stage gates open at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 25. The first performance starts at 11 a.m. Gate-opening time on Sunday, April 26, is 9:30 a.m., with the first performance of the day at 11 a.m.

A three-day pass, for Friday through Sunday performances, is priced at $239 per person. Single-day passes are also available. Thursday-only or Friday-only passes cost $110 per person. Passes for Saturday or Sunday only are priced at $130 per person.
