April at the Gulf Coast
It’s mid-April and many of our friends and family members are in Destin, FL, enjoying the gorgeous weather, the un-crowded beaches and all the fun that the Gulf Coast has to offer. From the reports we’re hearing, this is a fabulous time to be at the Coast, especially for vacationers looking to get a great deal on a beachfront condo or hotel.
We hear April is a little slow for resort rentals, compared with past years. Maybe it’s the slowing economy or the rising gas prices. Whatever is causing the lull is also providing some fantastic vacation opportunities for those willing to take advantage of the seasonal discounts. We’ve noticed many Resort Properties are offering specials to help lure savvy travelers to the beach before the summer crowds arrive.

You’re right Renee! It is a great time to be at the beach. Over the last couple of weeks, I have been across the coast from Gulf Shores Alabama to Panama City Beach Florida, and the beaches are gorgeous! When you stand in the snowy white sand and gaze out over the brilliant emerald green water, your breath is instantly taken away as the salty breeze of the ocean refreshes your senses of the majesty of the Gulf Coast. Wow! It is beautiful! When you couple the beauty of the coast with resorts running significant specials, along with tons of choices in Charter boat fishing, Golf, shopping, and fresh delicious seafood, then you have the perfect time to load up the SUV and come down to the beach!
