Sandestin Wine Festival Promises Wine, Food, and Fun in the Sun

Uncork some “Wine, Food & Fun in the Sun” at this year’s four-day Sandestin Wine Festival. The beloved festival celebrates its 37th anniversary in 2024, offering wine lovers samplings from across the globe. Guests also can enjoy wine dinners with celebrity chefs, live music, yoga, culinary tents and interactive experiences.

The host venue is Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort’s quaint Village of Baytowne Wharf. It’s nestled alongside picturesque Choctawhatchee Bay and central to myriad amenities central to the resort’s popularity.

The Main Events – Grand Wine Tastings

This year’s main events – the Grand Wine Tastings – are scheduled for Friday night, April 12th, from 5 to 8 p.m., and Saturday afternoon, April 13th, from 1 to 4 p.m. Participants can sip wines from premier vineyards and munch on perfectly paired gourmet bites prepared by local chefs.

ABC Fine Wine and Spirits will also offer discounted wines during the festival under a tent in the Village’s parking lot.

And the Bubbly and Boozy tent will once again be set up during the Grand Wine Tastings, serving up bubbles and spirits, and accompanied by live music played by local and regional bands.

A Healthy Start to the Second Day of the Festival

Festival-goers will enjoy a healthy start to the second day of the event with yoga and mimosas on the beach. Sandestin’s Hotel Effie and Spa Lilliana are sponsoring the Seas the Day activity set for 9 a.m. Saturday on a nearby South Walton ivory-and-turquoise beach.

The soothing sound of waves lapping the shore is sure to accompany the relaxing event. The cost is $25 and yoga mats will be provided.
